 ACCOMMODATION AND LOCATION
Detached house situated in a picturesque spot a couple of kilometre outside Trois-Ponts. Parts of the house date from the end of the 17th century: the lattice that is mainly on the first floor is a definite sign of this period. The rooms are quite small in size, but there is a warm atmosphere thanks to the well thought out furniture and decor, the fireplace and the beautiful bright colours on the walls. The house has all modern comforts. It is also a fun place for children: they can play safely in the garden and there is a swing, slide and a number of children's bikes at their disposal. Trois-Ponts is located in a sheltered valley in the High Ardennes, about 40 km southeast of Liège. The name, Drie Bruggen (Three Bridges) comes from the three bridges in the town: one over the Salm, one over the Baleur and one over Amblève. For hikers this is an ideal area where you will find good hiking trails, rest areas, furnished refuges and barbecue areas. Less than 10 kilometres from the house is the village of Coo that offers wide range of activities including: a trail with chairlift that starts from Coo and provides impressive views. Next to the waterfall there is an amusement park and there are many sporting and outdoor activities including canoeing with a very nice course along the Amblève river.
